Just being selected as a finalist and having the picture published is fantastic, but im keeping my fingers crossed for the $6500. You never know.

Well, took my new camera over to South Africa about two weeks ago, came back with about 650 pics
Havent got much time becuase i'm going down to cornwall for a week again on the 5th, but i'll put a few sample pics up.

Had a great time and would love to go again. Visited Durban, Imfolozi national park (where we saw Zebras, elephants, giraffes, White rhino, monkeys), St.Lucia (and saw crocs, hippos, black rhino) and finally capetown (and saw penguins!).

You'll see some more activity from me in a week or so after I get back and get all these pics sorted out. Cant really be arsed now, just spent 24 hours travelling (door to door) with hardly any sleep. Although, it was 36 on the way out :S

Fianlly got to 500 pageviews! Thanks to those two new cat pictures people seemed to like. Just got a Nikon D50 which I'm really loving so far. So much more conveniant this way! Expect some more similar stuff soon. Enjoi
